I just left my info for reviewing Touched by an Alien. It was such a fun book.
I'm about half way in to the book and am really enjoying it. I'm pleasantly surprised, because I really got the impression it was leaning towards PNR chick lit. I'm laughing out loud a lot with this one and I think the aliens are really kind of interesting...why are they always from Alpha Centuri though? Yeah it's the closest, but we need a new star, right?
I just joined and bought the book. I am going to be reading it tonight.
Ok so Im halfway though as well and um its funny but Im finding it kind of stupid......:(
I haven't started it yet. I've been up to my eyeballs in vampires but am looking forward to starting it this weekend.
I had so much fun reading this. A bit loopy at times, but fun. I linked my review.
I thought the book was great. Interesting characters and a plot with a fast and steady pace.
Looking forward to "Alien Tango".
I loved Touched By An Alien. It changed me as an author and inspired a blog series which appears every Friday, called Project Pay It Forward.
It is always good to see new SFR. Waiting for "Alien Tango"
I enjoyed Touched By an Alien because of the humor, wackiness, heroine and Big Baddies. *G* I can't wait to read Alien Tango, released later this year.
I enjoyed this book and the humor, but a little chick lit too. I loved the music selection and this was a FUN book.
I love this book as it doesn't take itself too serious, but still is a great and fun read.
I love the writing style and I'm so looking forward to Alien Tango.
I did enjoy the book, my only down side of it was the conclusions that Kitty made...she seemed to have this sixth sense that she would just KNOW all this stuff. It worked through a lot of the book, but sometimes it seemed like too much. Anyone else had that problem?
Though a bit late, hopefully I'm still in time for the discussion :-)
Just finished Touched by an Alien, and I fell in love with it! I have never read any sci-fi and I was a bit dreading it, but I enjoyed it so much! I loved the characters, the witty dialogues and the laugh out loud humour! Gini Koch instantly became one of my must have authors and I can't wait for Alien Tango! :-)
Ok I totally dived under the fence to get my review in here on time. Got in by like 30 secs. I loved the book, it was light and fun.
Parajunkie - I had a hard time with that too - sometimes she just jumped to not only the right but very convoluted conclusion while I was still saying Wha?
