Join Blog with Bite!

Joining Blog with Bite is as easy as just linking your review. Read the current feature book??? Link your review by clicking on submit your review above.  It is that easy.

For former Blog with Bite participants, we've changed up the rules a bit to make things simpler.  There is no more sign up deadline, just a review deadline.

I may not be able to participate in all the books but this sounds interesting! I like the looks of the 9/21 book but I am too committed on my schedule to add this. :(
I would love to add more urban fantasy and paranomrals to my reading though! BTW - on your acronyms - is PNR paranormal?

I am going over to The Book Depository to purchase it now. When is the review due by?

Mandyfish said...

I've been pricing this book (cause who isn't these days) and discovered that if you have a B & N discount card of any kind, it will be cheaper to run over and pick up the book there (with discount) than the Book Depository discount is after shipping. But that may be dependant on where you live. Just an FYI

What a great idea! I'd love to participate. I may not be able to do everyone but I'll try :)

Mandy -

Just thought I'd let you know that Book Depository always has FREE shipping, regardless of what country you live in.

Melissa (Books and Things) said...

I think I may be able to do this now.

I've bought and read Covet so I would love to do this one, and I'll do others too!

awesome! The more the merrier! I am in the middle of reading it myself..so far so good!!

would love to join it! :)

Falling - Thanks for the tip. I apparently missed that when I was looking at the site. Free shipping makes everything better.

I got my copy from the library this time...so no cost at all!

(I was way too entertained by that...may be time to find some caffeine or go back to bed.)

I'd love to join but the linky seems to have expirec. How do I go about the process because of that?

Froggy said...

confessionsofacountrygirl, that was the sign ups for covet. We will be adding the discussion questions up today for covet and posting reviews etc very soon. You can also follow along and post them on your blog and do both too.
Sign ups for the next book Intertwined will be up VERY soon! Hope you can join us for that too! :)

Darn I thought I signed up for this- argh. I guess one of our reviewers will post a review next month- sorry

Great, all signed up for Intertwined! Looking forward to reading this one, it sounds really different. Mine should be in the mail in the next couple days (hopefully).

I'm not even sure what this entails but hopefully you'll explain it further. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I'm signing up for "Intertwined," though I never received last month's selection of "Covet." Thus I was not able to provide a review of that book. Was I supposed to email you with the necessary contact information?

Emily said...

@Justin, as long as you're signed up for Intertwined with the Mr. Linky you're all set!

Blog Witb Bite is more similar to a book club, in that we all agree to review the same book but acquire our own copies of the book, whether it be purchase, public library, etc. We're hoping to move into ARCs or other ways of getting books in the future but for right now, it's a great way to discover new blogs, promote your blog, and enjoy urban fantasy and PNR.

Hope this helps!

What Book is That?

Jenn (Books At Midnight) said...

I've actually already read Intertwined and reviewed it a while back, but I still signed up. Is that allowed? I'm sorry if I missed something saying it's not!

Jenni @ Falling Off The Shelf said...

Jenn - I don't think it's a problem. Just link your review back here. Thats what I'm going to do with Queene of Light, because I've already read it. Plus, there are always the discussion questions :)

JoJosBookCorner said...

Ok. i didn't get to do my review for covet cause my book didn't show up till the day the reviews were due. but i am all in for Queene of Light. i already have that book. i am currently reading covet now, so will start as soon as i am done!

Jenni @ Falling Off The Shelf said...

Ahhh..I'm still reading my blog tour book, eh. I'll probably be rushing around to finish Intertwined. Good thing I'm off Monday and Tuesday so I can just binge read, lol.

Maybe I missed it but when is the deadline for the review to be up?

Literary Cravings said...

Hey cant wait to start reading that book!! I've been meaning to for some time now and now I have the perfect opportunity to read it and get exposure to my new blog!!!

Unknown said...

Oh this is awesome - I just got this one LOL - perfect timing! Thank you for letting me know! (Also thanks for the kudo's on my blog's design, I love it too!)

Anyway, I just started Shadowland but I will be sure to put Ballad next on the list! :)

Unknown said...

@Emily I failed to see that post till now because I kept waiting for a email that would ask for contact information for shipping a copy of the book. Again, I have been conditioned to sign up for blog tours of any kind in that manner. Since most of the ones I'm members of offer free copies.

Luckily with my job at the library and the ability to order books through library loan, I am able to participate within this blog tour. I apologize sincerely for not offering reviews for the last two months since I had not seen your post till yesterday. Sometimes I wish Blogger would alert you to new comments on posts you made on other blogs, besides your own.

Anyways, I shall begin anew with the next selection. With that, I'll find a copy then read it, and review it. Again, sorry for the miscommunication on my part.

Unknown said...

I won't able to take part in the November 30th selection due to only receiving notice of the book today and not knowing you had to individually sign onto to each month's book selection. So basically, ignore my name as with the other times I posted it in haste.

But with any of December's selection and there after, I will be writing proper reviews. Since I know everything there is to know about the workings of this book blog review group.

PeaceLove&Pat said...

I hope I can make the dealine. My book from bookdepository hasn't arrived yet :(

Hello! well after being notified of this awesome site, i definitely chose to join!! I have already read & reviewed Ballad though so, it's on my blog ^_^

ReggieWrites said...

Hi! I was wondering if I could join...again. I'm really sorry that I was inactive...I'm not really allowed to read Adult Fiction books...I'm only 14 and I don't really want to be exposed to that. Can I still join?

Reggie =)

I reviewed this last month-- could I add the graphic and post the questions on it too and participate? I was so bummed to miss the last two!

ParaJunkee said...

Yes - just repost or add the banners. Your personal choice. This blog is about reading other people's same reviews and comparing opinions. If you want to do a new post, post the discussion questions. - Parajunkee

I just found this post and like the idea a lot. I'm not sure how to sign up - does this note suffice?

(I hope that I can figure out how to do this because it looks like fun. I'm definitely up for reading and reviewing paranormals.)
